Washington DC., SAEDNEWS: Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) revealed nominations for 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards in online an event on Monday. The film "A Hero" directed by the Oscar-winning Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi was nominated for Best Motion Picture Award in the Foreign Language category in this edition.
"A Hero" has to compete with "Compartment No. 6", "Drive My Car", "The Hand of God", and "Parallel Mothers". Winners will be announced on January 9, 2022.
The film made its debut in the 74th Cannes Film Festival, winning the Grand Prix of the jury.
