Tehran, SAEDNEWS: The Iraqi president was welcomed at the Saa'd Abad historical and cultural complex, by Ebrahim Raisi and they are supposed to hold meetings and talks and also attend a press briefing.
Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid has just arrived in Tehran on Saturday morning for a one-day official visit at the invitation of Iran's President Ayatollah Ebrahim Raisi and he will be received officially in a formal format.
It is Abdul Latif Rashid's first trip to Iran after taking the post of Iraqi president.
The two senior officials are supposed to discuss the bilateral ties between Tehran and Baghdad and the regional and international issues.
It should be highlighted that Tehran and Baghdad have grown in exchange for visits by officials to speed up the expansion of relations in recent months (Source: IRAN PRESS).
