Band-e Golestan is one of the other tourist attractions of Mashhad. This attraction is constructed at 8 kilometers west of Mashhad over Golestan River. This dam represents one of the key touristic and sight-seeing regions of Mashhad. Although some 500 years have passed since this dam’s construction, it is still sound and secure.
