Black Bridge in Ahvaz
Black Bridge of Ahvaz represents one of the oldest bridges in Iran.

Black Bridge is one of the first bridges of Ahwaz and a key tourist attraction in the city. This bridge is almost built in the place of the old bridge of Ahwaz that belongs to Sassanid era and is the first modern bridge that is connecting the two sides of Karoon River for many years. The new structure of the Black Bridge was constructed simultaneous with the opening of the national railway network in 1929. It turned into one of the most important railway roads in southern part of the country. This name was inspired by the color of the body of this bridge.
