Suspended Bridge of Ahvaz is one of the beauties of South Iran over Karoon River. This bridge is one of the key bridges that are located in Ahvaz.

Eighth Suspended Bridge of Ahvaz is the largest suspended bridge in Middle East with a beautiful panorama over Karoon River. It is lately designed and constructed. It is the longest suspended bridge in the country and the Middle East and it is an initiative of Ahwaz Municipality for facilitation of commutes inside the city. Today Ahwaz citizens are witness to this symbol of beauty over Karoon River. It is expected that operationalization and renovation of this bridge and other bridges of Ahwaz as a megacity can attract internal and foreign tourists.

This suspended bridge that is indeed the eighth suspended bridge in Ahwaz has the name “Ghadir” and is located at the central core of Ahwaz city on the west bank of Karoon and in Amanyyah region. This bridge is of 1014 meters long and it is called the longest bridge of Middle East.
