The Governor of Iraq's Sulaymaniyah Haval Abubakir said on Monday that annually five billion dollars of goods are exported from Iran's six borders to the Sulaymaniyah Province of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: During a meeting on the implementation of the memorandums of understanding between Kurdistan Province and Iraq's Sulaymaniyah, Abubakir said that the export of goods from Iran to Iraq's Sulaymaniyah Province has reached over five billion dollars.

He added that despite the coronavirus outbreak, the borders of Iraq's Sulaymaniyah Province with Iran were not closed, and trade and economic exchanges between the two countries increased, indicating friendly cooperation and communication between the two states.
