The ancient cemetery of Chenar is located in the region of Chenarbashi in Illam and its history dates back to 1000 years BC. Several graves have been studied in this region and according to the results, there were special burial rituals including burying the bodies inside the small and large vats and putting the dead one’s personal stuffs inside the vat.
