According to the strategic document on Iran-China cooperation signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries, Iran and China have been cooperating in various fields related to health and medical education, including the fight against COVID-19, said the spokesman for the Food and Drug Administration of Iran.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: Kianoush Jahanpour wrote on his Twitter page on Monday: "The Paragraphs related to health and medical science education contained in the Iran-China strategic document, which was signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries on Saturday, show a clear perspective in cooperation between the two countries."

"It will even be a turning point for similar agreements with other countries and health systems in the coming years," added Jahanpour.

In his tweet, he published a part of the cooperation document between Iran and China, which emphasized the strengthening of cooperation based on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People's Republic of China on the fight against coronavirus and similar viral diseases.
