Damascus, SAEDNEWS: Upon his arrival at Damascus airport, Amirabdollahian was officially welcomed by his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad. The Iranian minister of foreign affairs visited Damascus in September 2021 in order to take part in the Regional Conference to Support Iraq and met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad as well as his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad.
