Speaking in a ceremony to commemorate his services, Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad-Jalal Firouzniya said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has decisively stood with the nations fighting against the global arrogance and prevented looting of the their wealth, confiscating their rights, and destroying their future.
Firouzniya noted that Iran stood up for the Palestinian nation's right to liberate their lands, return their homes, and establish a Palestinian state with Beit-ul-Moqaddas as the capital.
We stand with the Lebanese government, resistance, army, and nation and support their unity, sovereignty, independence, and legitimate right to exploit resources in their territorial waters, the ambassador said.
He also hailed the Lebanese people's victories against the Zionist regime in 2000 and 2006 and also their fight against terrorism.
