Iranian Salads: Salad Macaroni
Salad Macaroni is one of the most beloved Iranian salads. This salad is also used as the main course. This salad is wonderful. Children love macaroni and lots of children always ask the moms to cook macaroni everyday. This salad can allow the moms to prepare different dishes with macaroni.

You may make this salad with meat or meat free. But if you wish to use meat, any kind of grilled meat,, chicken or sausage and ham goes well with macaroni salad.

# Add water, 1tbsp vegetable oil and some salt in a large pot. Bring the water to a boil and add cook the pasta according to packet instructions (usually 10-12 minutes). Drain the pasta in a colander and rinse with cold water. Set aside to cool.

# Mix Mayo -mustard, oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper together.

# Add chopped onion, bell pepper, parsley, pickled cucumber, ham and prepared sauce to the cooked pasta. Stir to combine. Let to sit for 30 minutes. You may keep the salad in the fridge up to 3– 4 days.
