Iran’s President Describes Israeli Killing of IRGC Military Advisor as Sign of Frustration, Weakness
SAEDNEWS: Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi called the Israeli assassination of a senior adviser in the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) a sign of the Zionist regime’s frustration and weakness in the region for which it will certainly pay the price.

SAEDNEWS: “Without a doubt, the vicious act of assassinating the IRGC military advisor in a missile attack in Syria was yet another sign of the Zionist regime's desperation,” Rayeesi said in a message on Monday. The Israeli Army struck the Syrian capital of Damascus on Monday, killing a senior IRGC commander while on an advisory mission. The IRGC’s public relations department announced that Brigadier General Seyed Razi Mousavi was responsible for supporting the resistance front in the war-torn country.

Iran maintains an advisory mission in the war-ravaged country at the request of Damascus, helping it in the face of foreign-backed terrorism. Several members of the IRGC have so far been martyred in battle against terrorists in Syria.

Israel has been a key supporter of the terrorist groups during the war and has frequently targeted military positions inside Syria.

Rayeesi vowed that the Israeli regime will definitely pay the price for this crime (SOURCE: FARSNEWS).
