IRCS delivers 6m more doses of COVID-19 vaccine to health ministry
Iran’s Red Crescent Society (IRCS) on Thursday delivered the 26th consignment of imported COVID-19 vaccines, containing 6 million doses, to the Health Ministry.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: The IRCS chief Karim Hemmati said that with the arrival of the third shipment, containing 6 million doses of the vaccine, the Society has fulfilled the promise for receiving 18 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine in one week.

Iran’s Red Crescent Society has imported a total number of 70,390,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine since May, he added.

According to Iran's Health Ministry, 46,809,100 Iranians have already received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine and 21,548,207 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine (Source: IRNA).
