He said that the west Asian region has been entangled with devastating wars for four decades, including foreign invasions, civil wars, sanctions and military threats.
“America supported the Iranian imperial system before the Islamic Revolution, but took sides with Iraq against Iran, leading to the martyrdom of 237,000 Iranians and inuring a lot more, including the war disabled," he said.
He said that Iraq flickered the flames of war in 1991 and 2003, twice, leading to huge losses and backwardness of Iraq and hundreds of thousands of war disabled, and lots of material losses.
“The United States relying on its regional allies invaded Afghanistan in the year 2001, but left that country 20 years later aimed at flickering the flames of a civil war and never ending chaotic conditions there,” said Hajizadeh (Source: IRNA).
