IRGC's Military Advisor Martyred in Israeli Attack in Syria
SAEDNEWS: An Iranian military advisor of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) was martyred in Syria after an aerial assault by Israel in the southern outskirts of the capital Damascus.

SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Embassy in Syria slammed the Zionist regime's strike on a residential area on the outskirts of Damascus on Friday that left an Iranian military adviser martyred, warning that Tehran will definitely respond to the crime.

Since 2011, Syria has been gripped by foreign-backed militancy, as a result of which Daesh (also known as ISIS or ISIL) and other terror groups emerged in the country.

Iran maintains an advisory mission in the war-ravaged country at the request of Damascus, helping it in the face of foreign-backed terrorism. Israel has been a key supporter of terrorist groups during the war in the Middle Eastern country and has frequently targeted military positions inside Syria.

Several members of the IRGC have so far been martyred in the battle against terrorists in Syria. Tehran says its military advisers will powerfully continue the anti-terror fight in West Asia to enhance the regional security and stability in defiance of the Israeli regime’s terror operation against them.

The diplomatic mission also added that the Israeli regime has violated international laws and Syrian sovereignty by the aggression.

“The measures show the Zionist regime's tie to terrorists," the statement read (SOURCE: FARSNEWS).
