Kahak Castle of Kohzad is located near Hirmand River of Sistan and in 40 kilometers of southeast of Zabo that is the Far East joint border of Iran and Afghanistan. This castle is like a military fort in view of the strategic situation of the region. Zulfaqar Kermani in his book entitled “Midday Geography” has noted that this castle is located on the hill and it was constructed by Heshmat Al Mulk for protection and support of Sistan Dam.
