Kerman’s Vaulted Mourning House was constructed in 1340 AD along with Bazaar-e Muzaffari by Al-e Muzaffar. The transom of this monument is very magnificent and great. Beautiful tiling and decorations similar to those of Masjid-e Jami have been used in it. This Vault is located by Kerman Great Mosque, i.e. Muzaffari Jami Mosque where the lovers of Imam Hossein gather in Muharrem for mourning and commemoration of braveries and tragic martyrdom of Shia Imam.

The arcs inside this Vault are just like many of historical places of historical sites of Muzaffari era where bricks are intertwined with each other in crosswise form. The external shading (façade) of this vault is also of beautiful decorations. This structure is decorated with Muharram poems of great poets of Ashura Movement, i.e. Muhtasham Kashani by means of beautiful calligraphy.
