Khajeh Ghaltan Mausoleum is considered to be the most important mausoleum in Zabol County that has always been the host of many pilgrims, tourists and lovers of historical works. This monument is constructed over the highest point of the apex of Kuh-e Khajeh and on the north-eastern front, it is constructed in rectangular form and includes a barbed entrance with a domed room. Inside this room, one finds a great grave which is claimed to belong to the brother of Danial the Prophet in “Ehya Al Muluk” by Shah Hossein Sistani. Kuh-e Khajeh has many historical complexes including palace and temple of Kuh-e Khajeh, Rostam, Kafiran, Sam, Kuk Hohzad, Chel Dokhtar and Sarsang Castles, as well as Khajeh Ghaltan Shrine, Pir Gandom Beryan buildings, Satan house, ancient mausoleums and Islamic graves. Kuh-e Khajeh in Mitraei era and in Zoroastrian era had been a center for devotional activity due to the existence of fire temple and in later eras, it has retained its own respect. This religion has always been sacred by Islam, Zoroastrianism and Christianity and for this reason, it has a higher place and status and value among Iranians.
