Moscow, SAEDNEWS: In response to an IRNA correspondent question on the process of Iran’s permanent membership in EAEU, Lavrov said that Iran’s permanent membership in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was a positive move and the agreement on Iran’s permanent presence at the EAEU, too, has now started.
“Iran has been for a long time participating at the EAEU according to a temporary agreement, and now we have started the process for signing a permanent agreement between the EAEU and Iran,” he reiterated.
He said that this agreement will definitely be to the benefit of all participants in the EAEU (Source: IRNA).
