Leader appoints Mohseni-Ejei as Head of Judiciary
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a decree appointed the former first deputy Judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei as new Head of Judiciary.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: In this decree, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized: "paying serious attention to the missions of the judiciary in the Constitution, as well as continuing the transformational approach and implementing the existing Judicial transformation document, together with "spreading new technologies in the judiciary".

The decree of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution added: "Appointing efficient and jihadi staff for existing positions", "honoring honest judges and at the same time dealing decisively with violations" and "communicating with the people" among his eminence's expectations from the new Judiciary Chief in Iran.

Former Head of Judiciary, Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi was elected as Iran's President-Elect in the 13th presidential election with more than 18 million votes, which is 62% of the total votes cast in the ballot boxes on June 18.

Yesterday, President-Elect Raisi in a letter to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei sought permission to quit as the head of the Judiciary and concentrate to forming government (Source: IRANPRESS).
