Tehran, SAEDNEWS: In a meeting with Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem, held in Tehran on Saturday, IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami said the Lebanese Hezbollah’s recent action in holding back the Zionist regime’s army gave a warning to the new Israeli prime minister and revealed that nothing has changed in confrontation with the Zionists.
“The capacities for the dissolution of the Zionist regime are available at present. If the conditions are set just with their mistake, the future war will mark the war of their (Israel’s) death,” he warned.
The commander cautioned that if the “engine of Hezbollah revs up”, the Zionists will have to flee the occupied territories.
General Salami said the new military character of Hezbollah, which is the power of battle on the ground, will force the Zionists to escape.
A growing wave of escape without an escape route will inflict a severe and shocking psychological crisis on the Zionists, which will result in the dissolution of the Zionist regime, Salami warned.
He finally reaffirmed the Islamic Republic’s support for the Lebanese resistance and Hezbollah, which he said is beyond a mere military force.
In remarks in commemoration of the International Quds Day in May, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the downward movement of the Zionist regime has started and it will not stop.
"Since the first day, the Zionists turned the usurped Palestine into a terrorist base. Israel is not a country, rather it is a terrorist camp against the Palestinian nation and other Muslim nations," Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding, "Fighting against this despotic regime is fighting against oppression and terrorism. And this is a collective responsibility.” (Source: Tasnim).
