Tehran, SAEDNEWS: Brigadier General Esmaeil Qa’ani made the remarks on Saturday during a ceremony marking the 40th day since the passing of his deputy Brigadier General Mohammad Hejazi.
“The message of the Palestinian resistance and the international resistance from now on is that the Palestinians must make necessary plans to govern the entire Palestinian land, including the 1948 and 1967 territories and Gaza,” he said.
"Without a doubt, the Zionist regime must think about when it will cede the control of the occupied territories to the Palestinians and their administration will be taken away from it,” he added.
Qa’ani further said, "I recommend that the Zionists who have sold their houses in Europe and the United States and come to the occupied territories return to where they came from and rebuild the houses before they become more expensive."
According to the Quds Force chief, "many infrastructural facilities in the occupied territories were within the range of Palestinian missiles" during the recent Gaza war, but the resistance groups did not hit them, knowing it will not take long for them to use those facilities.
During the recent Israeli onslaught on Gaza, Gen. Qa'ani said, the Palestinians “acted in such a powerful way that the Zionist regime begged its allies to tell the Palestinians to stop the war.”
Israel launched airstrikes against Gaza on May 10, after Palestinian retaliation against violent raids on worshipers at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound and plans to force a number of Palestinian families out of their homes at Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem al-Quds.
Apparently caught off guard by unprecedented rocket barrages from Gaza, Israel announced a unilateral ceasefire on May 21, which Palestinian resistance groups accepted with Egyptian mediation.
"As someone on the side of the Resistance Front, I say that the time has passed when the Zionist regime wanted to kill the Palestinian children with weapons, bullets and guns, because the Palestinians are producing in their territories most of these vast means" which the Israelis used against them, General Qa'ani said.
"The 3,000 missiles fired by the Palestinians into the occupied territories were produced in this geographic area," Qa’ani said, referring to the besieged Gaza.
“During the first three days of the Gaza war, the oppressed people of Palestine, who are subject to sanctions and siege, fired missiles into the occupied territories almost twice the number of rockets launched during the 22-day war,” in 2008-2009, he added (Source: Press TV).
