Qomrud Castle in Qom
Qomrud Castle had been used as a station for protection of the commercial convoys and caravans in past. This castle needs to be renovated. It is made of clay and traditional elements.

Qomrud Castle is an old building that dates back to Parthian Empire. This castle is located on the skirts of Qomrud (Qom River) and on the northern side of Kuh Sefid a suburb of Qom Province. It seems that this ancient monument was built by Mirza Nizam Ghaffari near the eastern part of the ancient Qomrud Castle that is one of the early Safavid monuments. This castle has a market and also a central yard around which there are rooms. This building is constructed in two floors and has a Spring House and a Louvre. This castle is destructed due to the expansion of Qomrud Village.
