Saint Mesrop Armenian Church is the only church for Armenians who live in Mashhad by Dahom Dey Square. This building dates back to the reign of Pahlavi I and the plan of the church’s building has an almost trapezoid form. This building has two cone like domes on the top of both of which there are crosses and they are among the key distinguished features of this building. The larger dome is located in the middle of the building and the cross that is over it is made of iron; there is a series of white tiles under the dome that is decorated with a green flower.
