Sheikh Khan Cemetery of Qom
Qom is hosting numerous significant figures and distinguished people who are buried in this holy city. Cemeteries are also key documents for studying the history of a place and Sheikh Khan Cemetery allows you to do so.

Sheikh Khan Cemetery is a historical burial site near Holy Shrine of Her Majesty Mansoumeh in Qom. There are six mausoleums inside this cemetery in each one of which some scholars from different historical eras are buried. The history of these monuments date back to the era of Shia Imams and this makes the place valuable. As a result of the urbanization operation, the great Babolan Cemetery is destructed and the remained area has become known later as Sheikh Khan Cemetery. Now more than 600 scholars and great clerics are buried in this area including Mirza Qomi, Zakarya Ibn Adam, Zakrya Ibn Edris, Mirza Javad Maleki Tabrizi and Mohammad Hossein Fazil Tuni. Moreover, seven martyrs of 1981 June 28 terrorist attack are buried in this site in addition to tens of martyrs of Iran-Iraq war.
