Two-time Iranian gold medalist bags her third in Tokyo
Sareh Javanmardi won the gold medal in women’s 10m air pistol in Tokyo Paralympic games and became the most decorated Iranian athlete of all time.

Tokyo, SAEDNEWS: Javanmardi won the gold medal on Tuesday competing with seven other shooters in 10m air pistol category in Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

She gained 239.2 scores, staying before shooters from Turkey and Hungary who won silver and bronze.

With the score, Javanmardi broke Paralympic and world records in 10m air pistol, which was previously set by herself at 238.1 scores.

She had previously bagged two gold medals in Rio 2016 Paralympic games and this gold made her a three-time gold medalist and Iran’s most decorated athlete of all time.

Moreover, she has got a bronze medal in London 2012 Paralympics, five golds, two silvers, and one bronze in world championships; three golds and two silvers in world competitions; four golds and a silver in Para Asian games; two best athlete of month titles; and a best athlete woman in Asia title. She was also the banner bearer of Iran in Jakarta 2018 Asian Para Games (Source: IRNA).
