Cool weather of fall and winter, mineral water springs, famous and beautiful coasts of Persian Gulf, numerous islands, unique and valuable wetlands, unique geomorphological and geological characteristics, tropical vegetation, special animal species of dry and sea regions along with historical and social attractions in this region, all combine to create one of the most interesting natural regions of the country. Among the ancient mansions of the region, Cyrus Palace dates back to Cyrus era (the Founder of the Achaemenid dynasty) and Black Stone Palace that is also an Achaemenid monument are of further importance.
Gur Dokhtar a place where the grave of the daughter or sister of Cyrus is located is one of the important burial site of the whole region. Kushk Ardashir is one of the other monuments of Dashti city the building of which is very similar to Ardashir’s Palace in Firuz Abad. The tower of Khormuj Castle is one of the magnificent historical works that is considered to be the remnant of Giant Khormuj Castle. The architectural style of this building is Seljuqi and has been constructed influenced by the castle architecture of Sassanid era. Khark ancient burial site is also located in Tangestan and is attributed to Zoroastrians. Moshir Bridge that is constructed over Dalaki River dates back to Qajar era. Tawhid Mosque (Masjid Burazjaniha) is one of the oldest mosques of Bushehr that is of a magnificent building. Emamzadeh Abd Al Mahin is also located in Bushehr City and its dome is decorated by beautiful plaster work.
