SAEDNEWS Oct. 4: Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif met with new Emir of Kuwait, Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah on Sunday.Zarif who has visited Kuwait on behalf of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to convey Iran's support to the nation, met with new Emir of Kuwait and sympathized with the government and people of Kuwait over the departure of the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.He also congratulated Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on his succession to the throne following the death of Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Zarif held talks with his Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah as well (ISNA).
