Iranian FM to Visit Geneva for Talks on Gaza Crisis
The foreign minister of Iran is going to visit Geneva to hold talks with a number of the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross officials about the tragedy in Gaza caused by the Israeli regime’s assaults.

SAEDNEWS: The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian will travel to Switzerland in the course of Iran’s diplomatic efforts in regard to Palestine and plans to deliver humanitarian aid supplies to the people of Gaza.

As Iran has intensified efforts at the internal level to drum up support for Palestine, Amirabdollahian will be holding meetings with a number of the UN and the ICRC officials in Geneva, the spokesperson added.

In a telephone conversation with his Hungarian counterpart on Monday, Amirabdollahian called for the international community’s mounting pressures on the Zionist regime to stop its brutal strikes on the Gaza Strip.

More than 11,200 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.

The Tel Aviv regime has also blocked access to water, food, and electricity in Gaza, plunging the territory into a humanitarian crisis.

Human Rights Watch (HRW) has emphasized that Israel’s attacks on Gaza hospitals “should be investigated as war crimes.”

Meanwhile, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees has warned that operations will “grind to a halt” if no fuel is allowed into Gaza by Wednesday.
