Raisi says visits Russia to pursue immediate halt to Gaza bombardment
SAEDNEWS: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said here on Thursday that he is to be in Moscow, Russia, today to follow up efforts to immediate halt to bombardment of Gaza and the siege of the people in the Strip.

SAEDNEWS: President Raisi made the remark while speaking to reporters in Tehran before his travel to Moscow under the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Holding talks on ways to send humanitarian aid to Palestine and help the Palestinians fulfill their legitimate rights will be among the plans during the Moscow visit, the president underlined.

He went on to say that his visit is taking place at the invitation of the Russian president to discuss the critical situation in the region and review ways to expand bilateral relations in various areas.

In recent years, Tehran and Moscow have taken good steps towards strengthening bilateral ties and serving the regional interests, according to president’s remarks at Mehrabad airport in western Tehran.

As he stressed, Iran and Russia follow regional peace and stability as they enjoy common attitude towards the regional and extra-regional issues.
